Organization of team management in it company

Abstract

The article explores contemporary approaches to team management in IT companies, considering the specific nature of the IT industry and the challenges faced by IT companies. A comparative analysis of modern management theories applicable to IT companies is conducted. It is demonstrated that each of these theories cannot be applied in isolation but can complement each other by compensating for the weaknesses of others. A methodological approach is proposed for the utilization of management theories at different stages of the team's life cycle, according to B. Tuckman. This approach enables IT team managers and organizations to better understand the developmental stage of the team, the challenges faced by subordinates, and to select the appropriate toolkit for each stage
