Abstract

In today’s increasingly globalized and competitive economy, innovation is essential for the long-term success of international companies. Innovation can help companies to improve their products and services, reduce costs, and gain a sustainable competitive advantage. This paper proposes a generalized approach to strategic innovation management for international companies. This approach is based on three principles: alignment with overall strategy, flexibility and adaptability, and continuous improvement. The proposed approach begins with an assessment of the company's internal and external environment to identify opportunities and threats for innovation. This is followed by an assessment of the company's innovation resources and capabilities. The next step is to develop an innovation strategy that aligns with the company’s overall strategy and is flexible and adaptable to changes in the company's environment. The proposed approach is designed to be flexible and adaptable to the specific needs of each company. It can be used to help companies to improve their innovation performance and achieve their strategic goals
