Abstract

Modern Ukrainian enterprises operate in a highly volatile environment characterized by uncertainty and increased risks associated with ongoing military actions. This necessitates a refined approach to asset management that accounts for external environmental factors. In unstable market conditions, effective asset management plays a crucial role in financial management, serving as the foundation for utilizing available financial resources in the production process.

One of the most important components of this process is managing the company's asset structure, which is shaped by production specifics, specialization, production volumes, technology, technical support, and financial provision. In today's business environment, ensuring a sufficient amount of liquid assets for the effective operation of the enterprise is becoming increasingly important. The structure of properly formed liquid assets and their effective use in the production process influence the company's final financial result, contribute to a stable cash flow cycle, and affect the company's financial condition as an indicator of balanced decision-making in the field of financial management.

The article analyzes the views of various scientists on the definition of "assets" and identifies the differences between them. It also examines the approaches to asset management proposed by different researchers and highlights the importance of a comprehensive approach that includes financial, organizational, and legal aspects. The study emphasizes the need for continuous improvement of asset management systems to adapt to changing external conditions.
