Abstract

Scientific and technological progress is a continuous process of introducing new technology and technologies, organizing production and labor based on the achievements of scientific knowledge. The main features of the scientific and technical process are considered. The features of the scientific and technical process at the present stage are considered. The priority directions of development of science and technology at each stage of planning for ensuring the effective functioning of the economy are indicated. Also given are the tasks that are solved with the help of scientific and technological progress. And it is proved that the result of the introduction of the achievements of scientific and technical progress is an increase in the efficiency of the functioning of the national economy.
