Abstract

The article examines the main provisions and methodical approaches to assigning the efficiency of the food industry enterprise. Analyzing the domestic and foreign methodology of assigning the effectiveness of the food industry, the author determined the effectiveness of the food industry has various types of expression, each of which is characterized by its specific content, forms of expression and methodical techniques of quantitative measurement. Given the peculiarities of the food industry, which are primarily due to the high material content and the exceptional social significance of its final products, the main types of food industry's efficiency, depending on the results obtained, are economic, social and environmental efficiency. Having previously proved that the efficiency of enterprises in the food industry should be determined in three directions: economic, social, environmental, formulated a structured system of indicators, allocated to the relevant groups.
