Improving approaches to product quality management in the enterprise

The role of product quality at the enterprise is determined as one of the most important factors determining the success of the enterprise activity and ensuring its competitiveness. Product quality is defined as the set of characteristics of an object that relates to its ability to meet established and foreseeable needs. The concept of "quality management system" and its main purpose, namely the identification of deviations from the established requirements for the quality of products and services and in the application of solutions for the subsequent use of products with defects are considered. An approach to product quality management at the enterprise is formed based on the monitoring of five main components: quality assurance of raw materials, adherence to conditions of storage of raw materials, adherence to technology of the production process, quality control of finished products, adherence to conditions of delivery of finished products. Factors that influence the quality of products at all major stages of the life cycle. The author proposes a system of quality control at the enterprise with five main components.
