In modern conditions of managing, marketing should occupy one of the leading places in planning the activity of an enterprise and implementing its development strategies. However, most enterprise management systems in Ukraine do not pay enough attention to this issue, simply renaming the sales department to the marketing department. In the article the main problems and peculiarities of development of marketing in Ukraine are considered.
